Items are obtained through:

• Hunting (referred to as hunting drops)
• The Hive Casino (see Casino Shop)
• The Market
• Joe's Merchandise
• The Hospital (see Health Items)
• The Warfare Shop through gaining Warfare points.
• Crafting (see Crystal Exchange and Shadow Forge)

Once obtained, they are stored in a player's Inventory. If the players' inventory is full, the item will be placed into The Void. Certain items can only be used or found by Avatars.
