In real life...

Born in the U.S.A....
I was born in Tucson, Arizona and lived there for 18 years. Throughout my life in the U.S., I've visited many states. I can't even tell you how many National and State parks I've been to. A few summers ago, I even did the drive from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. When I was younger, I used to spend summers in Maryland with my mom's family so I've been up and down the east coast. I've also driven the entire length of the Pacific Coast Highway. As for other countries, I've been to Nogales, Sonora Mexico and stayed a few days at Rocky Point. As for the U.S.'s northern neighbor, I visited Niagara Falls, Canada and absolutely fell in love with the beautiful falls.

Living in the Land Down Under...
In June of 2008, I got on a plane to LA, then waited for hours at the airport, to get on my United flight to Sydney, Australia. After about 15 hours flight, I arrived to a fog filled and rainy Sydney (I couldn't eve see the bridge). I got epically lost at the airport but eventually found my way to my terminal to get on my 5 hour flight to Perth. Perth is often referred to as the most remote capital in the world. It's thousands of miles away from any other big metropolitan city. I moved to Perth to be with my then boyfriend Alfonzo.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps...
Music has always been a big part of my life. I grew up listening to Classic Rock and Country. I'm not too fond of country now a days but if you want someone to chat about it with I'd be glad to listen. I still habor a love for Classic Rock though. From AC/DC to Yes, I love it all. I'm particularly fond of Led Zeppelin. I'm a pop culture addict for some reason and I can ramble off a ton of useless music facts. Did you know, according to U.S. top 100 charts, Jimi Hendrix is actually a one hit wonder? Did you know that if you listen to 'Stairway to Heaven' backwards at a certain speed you can make out an entire new song?
Unfortunately, when I was younger my parents could not afford any music lessons for me, but since arriving in Australia, I've taken to learning the piano and the guitar.

About DesertLady....

After watching Alfonzo play often, I decided that rather than make him quit to hang out with me I'd instead join Legacy so we could play together. That was in November 2008. I started out really slowly but grew to absolutely adore the game. And now I'm really active.

I was assigned to Blade of Dawn at sign up. It took me awhile to get notice but oh boy have I made an impact! I'm more than likely the youngest account age to make sensei (rank 11). I've been winning multiple competitions, most notably the signature competition and the Blade of Dawn short story competition.
