Energy is a finite resource in Legacy that plays a key role in several core gameplay mechanics. Energy powers a variety of in-game actions such as working to earn credits, fighting other players and hunting NPCs. Energy sets a limit on the number of in-game actions you can take, and managing it is vital in ensuring you can progress quickly in the early game.

[hide]Energy Cap
There is a maximum amount of Energy you are able to hold at any one time. The amount depends on whether you've purchased the Expanded Energy unlock from the Platinum Shop
The default maximum Energy a player can store is 6000. If you buy the Expanded Energy unlock, this increases your maximum Energy to 7500 Energy, allowing you to store more Energy at once. This upgrade is particularly useful for players who go for longer periods without logging in, as it gives you a larger buffer in which to store your Energy before you need to use it. However, you cannot exceed your maximum Energy, whether it's 6000 or 7500, so once you hit that cap, no more Energy will be added to your total until you spend some.
Energy Sources
- You automatically gain 200 energy every hour, on the hour (i.e. 5:00 PM) or 240 every hour with Energy Boost purchased with Platinum
- Energy can be gained with various Event items such as Gingerbread Man, Halloween Candy, Mini Moo Juice, and Minimoo Chocolate
- You can also exchange points earned while chatting with Lund in exchange for Energy.
1 point = 100 energy, or 5 points = 500 energy
Energy Uses
Energy can be used for:
- Working, which can cost anywhere from 200 Energy per job to 1,000 Energy per job
- Attacking other players, or PVP (Player Vs. Player), which costs 5 energy per round (1 round = 1 attack from each side)
- Hunting, which costs the same as PVP, and you need at least 500 to attack an SNPC boss (The 500 Energy cost for SNPC's is waived with the Big Game Hunter Ability)
- Raids will sometimes have an energy cost to enter (You only pay to enter the Raid, combat within the Raid has no energy cost)
Trivia
- Energy used to be used for the old Avatar Training System!
