Player Search
Player search, which you can reach in Quick Links, is exactly what it says. You can search for a player by name or search for a range of levels. From this you can view a person's profile by clicking on their name. From their profiles you can choose to pm the person or attack them. It is also used to check whether people are healthy or injured.
If you are searching for players to attack, you may also search using the HP value and checking certain checkboxes, such as 'Only Display Attackable' or, if you are in any clans, check off the boxes next to the words "Filter Out name of your clan" so the results will only show players you can attack. If you are searching for players in a certain gang or rogue players, you can select which gang you are looking for using the Gang Membership dropdown list.
Player Search: Results
After you enter your query you get a result screen, which shows the ten first results based on your sorting. Here you can use the quick link on the left to attack the player or press the players name to get to that players profile.
If you get too many results and don't find what you are looking for, you need to tighten the level or hp values or change the sorting.
Quick Player Look Up
There is a different type of lookup located in the Hall of Records. In 2009 Zorg made a little box under the player profiles.
