From Legacy Wiki
I am Matteh, or more commonly known as Matty. I began my Legacy career January 26th, 2014 at 1:04PM Atlantic Time. I was introduced to Legacy from Philly, Drako and Vinny, who had been playing not too much longer than me. Upon signing up, I was placed in Dark Flame, where I spent well over a year under the wing of Jobu (Kruxx today).
CHARACTER DESIGNS Character design(s) I've gone to like over the last couple of years. LIFE HISTORY I as born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was just me, my mother and my brother. Money was always tight, bud we made do with what we had. I learned from a very young age that I enjoyed various technology around me. From video game consoles such as the Super Nintendo and Playstation 1 to mechanical toys. I loved taking things apart, which grew expensive as I never knew how to put them back together. I learned a lot from my brother, who is seven years older. At the age of 8 we got our first computer, a Sony Vaio PCV-RS520. It was considered above average for the time, boasting a 3.0GHz Pentium processor, 512MB of RAM and a monsterous 160GB harddrive. This is where my life began to take shape into what it was today. My gaming career began with Habbo Hotel, a virtual 'chatting' game that had features such as furniture that you could make a room out of. I quickly began understanding micro-transactions upon playing it, as I always wanted to spend my money on the in-game currency. In addition to Habbo Hotel, I played RuneScape, the web-based MMORPG. This was a game that all of my friends had played at the time, and I still log in today to keep up on what's happening on there, although much less interesting than when I was a child. At the age of 15 or so, I began to enjoy taking apart and putting back together computers. At this time in my life, I was actually able to do so. My grandmother had known my interests, and had offered to give me a desktop computer that they were about to replace. Within about a year and a half, I had poured about $500 into making it more suitable for my needs, boosting it up to a 2.3GHZ Dual Core Processor with Hyperthreading, a NVidia 660ti, and about 16 gigs of DDR3 RAM. I knew then that computers were what I enjoyed most, and putting them together was a whole different aspect of fun. On June 30th, 2014 I graduated from High School, embarking into what we're told is life as we know it. I had applied to a Radio and Television Arts program at the Nova Scotia Community College, but upon spending roughly two months of my time there, I learned that it was not the field I wanted to go into. I withdrew from the course, losing half of my tuition, making my family think I'm a bum, and have since not been in school. Currently I spend my hours either working or figuring out what I would like to get back to school for. |
