Description: The Radiation Cannon is a powerful weapon developed by X-Corp to fight against entities that have been known to invade the Wasteland from time to time. |

Summary
The Radiation Cannon can be fired at any accessible square within the wasteland and will apply the following effects on it as well as the squares immediate adjacent to it. Effects apply to ALL TARGETS (Enemy or not) and are doubled on the Primary Targeted Square.
- 150 Damage to Buildings
- 300 Damage each to all Players and NPC's
- 25% Control Loss to all squares
- 5% Radiation Exposure to all Players
NOTE: Gang HQ's are unaffected by the Radiation Cannon.
Switch Runner
The Switch Runner is the person in your gang who will receive the Cannon Trigger. It is up to them to take the switch to the desired square and use the Wasteland Command '/trigger' to deploy a beacon and activate the signal. When selecting a Switch Running from the Objective page on the Wasteland Overview, any member of the Gang may be chosen (Even yourself) with no rank requirements. This person will be notified in their Combat Log they have received the Cannon Trigger and the item will be placed in their inventory with a 20 minute timer.
NOTE: If the Cannon Trigger expires in a players Inventory, another Switch Runner can be selected immediately.
Beacon
The beacon will be placed with 3,000hp and will have its location announced in wasteland and side chat. After 3 minutes, the gang controlling the Radiation Cannon must activate or abort the Cannon from the Objective page on the Wasteland Overview.
Reclaiming
Before the Cannon Trigger has been used, the controlling gang can Reclaim the switch and send it out with another player. When reclaimed, a 5 minute cooldown is triggered before a new Switch Runner can be selected.
Aborting
Once the Cannon Trigger is used and a Beacon is placed, the controlling gang can Abort the Radiation Cannon by accessing the Objective page on the Wasteland Overview. When aborted, a message is sent in wasteland and side chat, and a 1 hour cooldown is triggered before a new Switch Runner can be selected.
Malfunction
The Radiation Cannon has a 25% chance of Failure and that is increased to a 75% chance of failure when the Phase Disruptor is active.
When a Malfunction occurs, an announcement is made in wasteland and side chat and a 4 hour cooldown is triggered before it can be used again.
Destruction
If the Beacon placed by the Switch Runner is destroyed prior to activation, a 30 minute cooldown is triggered before a new Switch Runner can be chosen.
