Early 2014, the Crystals began to see many different changes. The Crystal Entities began to drop broken fragments of Crystals instead of actual Crystals. This was to lay the groundwork for something much bigger.

Crystals were always used by Avatars in order to forge very powerful weapons and armor. The magical properties within each crystal varied and was identified by the color. At some point though, these crystals that were harvested from the Crystal Entities began to crack and chip. This was most likely due to the crude method of killing these beasts to get the crystals from their body.

Combining Crystals

Luckily, thanks to the ingenuity of the Avatars, they quickly found that they were able to combine the smaller crystals in order to make them more complete. From most incomplete crystals to perfect crystals, it looks like this:

Crystal Removal

Some time after the introduction of crystal combining and leveling equipment, crystal removal was discovered. The process could be done by Joe of Joe's Merchandise in Sector 3.

He provided free service due to his harsh methods either damaging the gear or destroying the crystal completely. Upon mastery of crystal removal Joe may charge for the service of being able to remove crystals without collateral damage.

The Crystals Broken Down

Fire Crystal


The Fire Crystal fragment is the most basic of all the Fire crystals. It does not provide a bonus.	The Fire Crystal Shards are created by combining 2 fragments. It does not provide a bonus.	The small Fire Crystal is formed by combining 2 shards. This small crystal, when embedded into a weapon or armor, will provide an extra 2% towards the Damage stat
The medium Fire Crystal is formed by combining 2 small crystals. The medium crystal, when embedded into a weapon or armor, will provide an extra 4% towards the Damage stat	The large Fire Crystal is formed by combining 2 medium crystals. The large crystal, when embedded into a weapon or armor, will provide an extra 6% towards the Damage stat	The giant Fire Crystal is formed by combining 2 large crystals. The giant crystal, when embedded into a weapon/armor, will provide an extra 8% towards the Damage stat

Void Crystal


The Void Crystal fragment is the most basic of all the Void crystals. It does not provide a bonus.	The Void Crystal Shards are created by combining 2 fragments. It does not provide a bonus	The small Void Crystal is formed by combining 2 shards. This small crystal, when embedded into a weapon or armor, will provide an extra 2% towards the Armor stat

The small Orange Crystal is formed by combining 2 shards. This small crystal, when embedded into a weapon or armor, will provide an extra 4% towards the Melee Skill stat

Crystals in your gear

Crystals can do many things to your weapons, armor, and accessories. So, below will show you exactly what each crystal will do to specific pieces of gear. Each item will be of Godlike quality (as those are considered end game gear and most likely to level to the point a crystal can be inserted) and will assume that the crystal inserted is of perfect quality.
