Overview

The Armoury will gain a 'Dispatch' button once it reached Rank 10

Elite Guards are Special Guards that Gangs are able to Equip with their own chosen set of Gear to fight for them within the Wasteland. These Special Guards will wander the Wasteland attacking Players from other Gangs.

Once unlocked, each Gang will have 10 Elite Guards that they can Dispatch into the Wasteland. This is both the Default and (current) Maximum Elite Guards a Gang can possess.

Unlock

In order for a gang to unlock Elite Guards, they must fully upgrade the Armoury to a level of 10 (Each Level will add 10 slots to the maximum it can hold, capping out at 100 items). Once this requirement is met, Elite Guards are available to use forever.

  • As of October 2022, all gangs have all unlocked Elite Guards.

Stats and Equipment

While Elite Guards have hidden base stats, the HP is locked in at 450. The Equipment you set them with will determine how they hold up within the Wasteland.

Equipment is chosen from the Gangs Armoury to be applied to the Guards. 1 set of Equipment is all that is needed and will be applied to every Elite Guard sent into the Wasteland.

Example: If you set the gear for Elite Guards to Titan Guard, 2x Scythe, and 2x Amulet - All Elite Guards will have this Equipment.

  • If no Equipment is set, the Elite Guard will have a Dark Legion Armor, a Core Staff in Weapon Slot 1, and a Droid Drone in Misc Slot 1 (Both Weapon Slot 2 and Misc Slot 2 will remain empty)
It's recommended to at least apply gear to Weapon Slot 2 and Misc Slot 2 if full sets of gear are not available.

It is also important to note, that while the Equipment is applied to Elite Guards - it cannot be withdrawn from the Armoury. The Equipment will not gain experience while Guards use them, but they can be socketed with Crystals just as a normal player could.

Combat

Elite Guards will wander the wasteland attacking players of other gangs. They will deal anywhere from 10-20 damage every 4 seconds.

  • These attacks from Elite Guards are guaranteed to hit and do not allow for players to damage the Elite Guards in Self Defense. In order to defeat an Elite Guard, a player must directly attack the Elite Guard.

Cooldowns

The Interface used to Equip and Dispatch Elite Guards.

When a Guard is Defeated, there is a 1 hour Resting Period before the Elite Guard can be sent out again. Up to 2 Guards can recover every hour.

  • These Resting Periods DO NOT overlap. If 6 Guards are defeated in the wasteland, you will gain 2 of them back every hour and all 6 will be available again after 3 hours.

Dispatch and Movement

Elite Guards can be Dispatched from any Player Rank 14, 17, or 18 within the Hive or Wasteland. They are able to send out any number of Elite Guards currently available (Up to 10 Maximum) to the coordinates of any square controlled by the Gang (An error will show if you try to send an Elite Guard to inaccessible square or one controlled by another Gang).

Elite Guards have 2 Options for Movement - Patrol and Idle.

Patrol - Elite Guard will move randomly EVERY tick (40% Chance to move).

Idle - Elite Guard will move randomly EVERY OTHER tick (40% Chance to move).

The big takeaway here is that if you want to try and keep the Elite Guards in one place (Example: Defending a Building/Objective) you want to use Idle to try and prevent them from wandering off.

  • You can see where the Elite Guards are currently located from the Dispatch Screen in the Armoury. If they wander to far off, it may be time to Recall them and Dispatch them again.

Cost

In order to Dispatch Elite Guards, there is a cost to pay. Upon unlocking Elite Guards, the Armoury will no longer store Silver Plates or Gold Plates and the remaining materials will be used to pay the cost for dispatching Elite Guards.

The cost of the Elite Guards is paid randomly but will cost one of the following.

This cost is per guard and will increase depending on how many guards you choose to Dispatch.

If you Recall Elite Guards, you will need to pay again for them to be Dispatched.
