On December 30th, 2010, Zorg added an option in the Game Settings menu - once players reach level 75, they may choose to continue leveling past level 80 or not.  For those who had leveled past 80 before this option was implemented, and wished to return to level 80, Zorg offered to reset their experience to zero.  This request could be made by submitting a ticket, however, it was a limited-time offer, as Zorg stated that "[It] will only be available for the next couple of weeks."

Zorg generated ("pulled from the depths of hell") a new algorithm to calculate the experience needed to to level up above level 80.  It increases the amount of experience needed to level at a much faster rate than the formula used for non-Avatars.  This formula only comes into play once a player reaches level 80.  Players of level 80+ receive the same experience per kill as a level 80, and similarly give the same experience as an avatar upon defeat.
