Templates are used to standardize content within a wiki. When a template is edited, every instance of that template is edited too. In the case of LegacyWiki, we currently have four templates.

Template:Delete

This is used to alert visitors that the page is undergoing a deletion discussion. Pages with this tag are considered irrepairable, at least by the person who added it.

Template:Cleanup

This is used to alert visitors that the page requires cleanup. Pages with this tag are considered repairable, but need major changes.

Template:Protected

This is used to alert visitors that the page is protected from editing. Pages are usually protected to guard against vandalism.

Template:Lowercase

This is used to alert visitors that the page's title should begin with a lowercase letter. LegacyWiki automatically makes the first letter of each article capital, whether it should be or not.
